STEP 1: USA Hockey Registration – If you haven’t already, you will need to register through USA Hockey and receive a confirmation # to be used in the background check and SafeSport training that will need to be completed. This is free for managers/volunteers and is an annual renewal.

Step 2: Background Check – This is required for all volunteers, is free, and only takes a few minutes to complete. This is good for two (2) years so you only have to complete if you did not do this last year. You will need to include your USA Hockey # during this process. We are in District 6. Keep your confirmation number handy.

Step 3: SafeSport Training - All volunteers will need to complete this training. This is good for two (2) years so you only have to complete if you did not do this last year, just need your number. This is a rather long process.
