PER PLSHA BY-LAWS - voting must take place in person
The 2024 PLSHA Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, April 28th beginning at 7PM in the conference room @ Dakotah. Voting will take place following the meeting.
Reminder on voting: Each member in good standing (as defined in Article1, Section 1) is entitled to one vote per issue at the monthly or periodic meetings of PLSHA, including the annual meeting, provided such member is at least 18 years of age. No proxy votes will be recognized or counted (Article 1, Section 3).
FOR 2024 THERE ARE SEVERAL ELECTED BOARD MEMBER SEATS AND SEVERAL NON-ELECTED CHAIR AND OTHER POSITIONS.
Board members are elected at-large. Members-at-large are not elected for specific roles or duties, rather they are elected to serve the board’s strategic needs and may have various responsibilities during their elected two-year term. Please refer to “ARTICLE II – PLSHA BOARD” of the PLSHA By-Laws for further definition specific to PLSHA.
In addition to the elected positions, there are a handful on non-elected positions (Chairperson and Coordinator roles). These positions do not have set term lengths; however, we do ask that you commit for a minimum of one full season, if not longer. These positions have a similar application process to the elected positions but will be appointed by the 2023-24 Board.
All elected positions are voted in for a two-year period. The positions filled in this election will serve the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons.
