You received a message your background screening isn't verified...

YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED YOUR SCREENING:

1. Be sure you submitted your SafeSport Certificate / USA Hockey # using STEP 4 above; otherwise the system does not know to look for your background screening. 

2. USAH website will not let you request a background screening if you are not due for one; STEP 4 / registrar will not let you submit if you have already submitted your SafeSport this year. If both systems do not let you proceed; email your USA Hockey number using the email above.  

YOU MAY HAVE COMPLETED AND IT HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED YET: 

If your screening has been submitted, but is not complete yet; remember these time varies with an increase during peak time. Notify the coordinator using the email when you know it has been completed; you will receive an email from NCIS when it's complete. 

I HAVEN'T STARTED AND DON"T KNOW WHAT TO DO: 

If your screening has not been started, use the link in STEP 6 above; do not proceed with any volunteer hours until this is complete.
